Proctors
Coming to Proctors for that must-see show? No need to worry about parking! Park Schenectady offers multiple facilities within a short walking distance to Proctors. The Schenectady Municipal Parking Garage is free for many Proctors performances and the Broadway South, Clinton South (behind Proctors) and Center City lots are available for those who prefer surface parking.
VIP Parking for Proctors
Scan the QR Code above to reserve a parking spot in the VIP parking lots for a Proctors Show! This allows you to reserve and pay for parking ahead of time in the Clinton South or Broadway South parking lots for easy access next time you attend a show at Proctors! Parking is available for a daily rate of $5.00 when reserved ahead of time for a Proctors event, must be reserved at the link in advance.
Bow Tie Cinemas Movieland
Catch the latest Hollywood blockbusters at Bow Tie Cinemas Movieland (400 State Street, corner of State and Broadway). Convenient parking is located across Broadway at the Schenectady Municipal Parking Garage (entrance on Hamilton Street) and at the Center City lot (entrance on Franklin Street). To enjoy complimentary parking, please present your garage ticket to Bow Tie staff for parking validation.
Schenectady Greenmarket
Visit the market every Sunday 10am – 2pm. Located outside City Hall April-November and inside Proctors December-March. In addition to a wonderful variety of fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs, you’ll find delicious baked goods, cheeses and meats, plus crafts and music. Convenient parking is available in the Broadway South Lot (behind Proctors) and in the Schenectady Municipal Parking Garage (entrance on Hamilton Street).
Downtown Shopping
The Schenectady Municipal Parking Garage and surface lots are conveniently located near downtown’s many shopping destinations. Heading to pedestrian Jay Street? Park in the Clinton North Lot (entrance on Clinton Street) or the Center City Lot (entrance on Franklin Street), then follow the archways for a direct connection to pedestrian Jay Street. The City Hall Lot (entrance on Liberty Street) is also a short walk from pedestrian Jay Street.
Dining and Nightlife
American, Chinese, Indian, Italian, Japanese, Mexican, Moroccan… lunch and dinner options abound in downtown Schenectady! Coffee, pastries, burgers, subs, pizza, health food and more, you’ll find it here. Many establishments offer outdoor seating. Whatever you’re craving, Park Schenectady’s lots are conveniently located throughout downtown so you’re just steps away from a great dining experience.
Armory Studios NY
Armory Studios NY is the region’s largest, dedicated, qualified New York State soundstage. Armory Studios NY is located at 125 Washington Avenue and parking can be found in surface lots off of S. Church Street and S. Ferry Street. Lot C, adjacent to Armory Studios, is designated for free ADA parking. Click on the link below for more information and a parking map.
NY Phoenix Basketball
Armory Studios NY is home to the NY Phoenix Basketball team! Parking on game nights can be found off S. Church Street and S. Ferry Street in both surface lots and on-street parking. Schenectady Light Opera Company
Schenectady Light Opera Company (SLOC) theater is located in the heart of downtown Schenectady at 427 Franklin Street. There are a number of public parking areas nearby. Parking is available in the Park Schenectady lots, including the Franklin & Liberty Lot, Center City and Broadway North.
