Schenectady County Host Inaugural Battle of the Bands in Downtown Schenectady
(Schenectady County, NY) On Saturday, September 27, 2014, Schenectady County will host one of the biggest nights of live, local music in Downtown Schenectady at Schenectady County’s Battle of the Bands.
“Schenectady County invites you Downtown to experience the excitement of our inaugural Battle of the Bands,” said Cathy Gatta, Chair of the Legislature’s Committee on Tourism, Arts and Special Events. “Grab your friends and come down and see six of the area’s best bands competing for prizes and the chance to play SummerNight 2015.”
Schenectady County’s Battle of the Bands will take place on the Corner of Liberty Street and Broadway in Downtown Schenectady from 4:00pm until 10:00pm. Admission is FREE and food and beverages will be available.
Bands scheduled to perform include Where’s Alex, Thirsty!, Saving Atlantis, Snook Bros., Crush, and The Stockade Kids. For a complete schedule and description of each of the bands visit www.SchenectadyCounty.com.
Schenectady County’s Battle of the Bands is presented by Saratoga Eagle and Monster Energy Drink in partnership with 20 North, Canvas, Corks and Forks, Centre Street Pub, and Pinhead Susan’s.
