Nicholaus Building Update

Schenectady, N.Y., April 5, 2016 – Mayor Gary McCarthy provided an update today on road openings related to the Nicholaus Building at the corner of State Street and Erie Boulevard in downtown Schenectady.

The Mayor announced that due to continued progress at the building site, the City will be reopening both northbound lanes on Erie Boulevard and one southbound lane by 3:00 pm today.  In addition, State Street between Erie Boulevard and South Ferry Street will be reopened going westbound. The eastbound lane is expected to reopen tomorrow.
