Schenectady, N.Y. – The Galesi Group today announced that downtown Schenectady will get its first Dunkin’ Donuts located at a new 4,240 square foot building to be built at the entrance of Mohawk Harbor.

David Buicko, Galesi Group CEO said, “This location at the corner of Erie Boulevard and Rush Street, the gateway to our new riverfront development, is highly visible and we expect this new Dunkin’ Donuts to be a great success.”

The Dunkin’ Donuts will be operated by the Teixeira Network. The company has successfully operated Dunkin’ Donuts stores for more than 30 years.

“What better location could we ask for than to be located at the entrance to Mohawk Harbor.  We are excited to be part of this incredible development project in the City of Schenectady,” said Carlos Teixeira, President and Franchise Owner.

The new Dunkin’ Donuts is scheduled to open in the fall of 2017 and will employ between 20 to 25 employees.
